What this screen shows
Migration is only safe if balances survive it. Balance is stored per invoice rather than derived from status, so a part-paid invoice reads as part-paid rather than collapsing to open or closed. Dues invoices are tagged separately from event and store orders — that split is the whole argument for building events at the same time as membership.
